speech finals

Friday 25th of august at Pt England School team 5 had an speech competition. all of the speeches were perfect and sad. there was 1 sad one and 9 speeches that weren't sad. my favourite speech was the sad one. it had someone passing away and drugs. the drugs were made by an old lady I think. it was really sad if you were there you would cry. well thats they end of my blog post hope you enjoyed it.

jelly bean challenge

Today we did a challenge to hold the most books with toothpicks and jelly beans. My team was able to hold 5 books but the team that came first manged to hold 7 books. that team was the winning team.
we learnt about the technological process with 5 steps brainstorm, research, plan/design, create and present. after all of the building we did we got to eat my teams jelly beans that we built with.
